In short
Hextion is a downloadable panel for After Effects, sold for $19 once by its maker, an individual in India.
Dodo Payments sells it to you as reseller and Merchant of Record on this site. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
You can try everything free for 7 days. What you make with Hextion is yours, including client work.
Don't share or resell Hextion or your key, and don't work around the licence check.
1. Who you deal with
Hextion is made and licensed by its maker, an individual (sole proprietor) in India. In these terms "I" and "me" mean the maker of Hextion. Contact, including legal notices: support@gethextion.com.
2. Merchant of Record
Orders on this site are processed by Dodo Payments, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments handles the payment, the receipt, any sales tax, VAT or GST, and refunds, under its buyer terms.
3. Accepting these terms
By buying, downloading or using Hextion, or using this website, you agree to these terms and to the Licence (EULA).
4. The product
Hextion is a downloadable panel for Adobe After Effects, for Mac and Windows. What it needs is listed on the pricing page. Hextion is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Adobe.
5. Price and payment
Hextion costs $19 (US dollars), paid once. Tax is added by the shop where your country requires it. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. A price change applies to future buyers only.
6. Free trial
The trial runs for 7 days from the first time Hextion opens on a computer, with every feature. It needs no payment details and never charges you automatically. One trial per computer.
7. Delivery
Delivery is instant. After payment the shop emails you the download link and your licence key. The trial download is free on this site.
8. Licence
Hextion is licensed, not sold. One key works on one computer, which you can change. The full terms are in the Licence (EULA).
9. Refunds and cancellation
If Hextion doesn't work out, you get a full refund within 14 days of purchase: when it won't run on your computer and I can't fix it, when you hit a problem I can't solve, when it isn't what this site described, or when you were charged twice or by mistake. Write with your order number or receipt email and tell me what went wrong. The full policy is on the refunds page. There is nothing to cancel, because nothing renews.
10. Acceptable use
Don't use Hextion or this site for anything unlawful or fraudulent. Don't share or resell your key, bypass or tamper with the licence check, or attack this site or the shops' licence servers.
11. Your content and mine
What you make with Hextion is yours, including client work, without credit. Hextion's code, templates and presets stay mine. You are responsible for having the rights to the footage, fonts, music, logos and audio you use with it, including audio you send to ElevenLabs. If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, write to support@gethextion.com; repeat infringers lose their licence.
12. Third-party services
Auto captions use ElevenLabs with your own account and key, under ElevenLabs' terms and prices. The optional icon library downloads from public open-source projects under their own licences. Adobe software is licensed to you by Adobe.
13. Availability
I can't promise this site or a shop's licence server will always be available. If a shop's licence server shuts down for good, I will release an update of Hextion that works without it.
14. Warranty and liability
Hextion is provided as is. Save your work and keep backups. To the extent the law allows, my liability is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract, for example under EU Directive 2019/770, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or India's E-Commerce Rules.
15. Suspension and termination
Your licence ends if you break these terms or the EULA, if a payment is refunded or charged back, or in case of fraud. When it ends, uninstall Hextion and delete all copies.
16. Age
You must be 18 or older to buy, or buy with a parent or guardian.
17. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country.
18. Grievance officer
Grievance contact: support@gethextion.com. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month.
19. Changes
I may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after they are posted here. Earlier versions are kept on this site.
