In short
Your projects never leave your computer. Hextion goes online only to check your licence, to download the icon library once, and to send audio to ElevenLabs when you run auto captions with your own key.
This website sets no cookies and counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't track you across sites.
Nothing is sold or shared for advertising. There is no newsletter.

What stays on your computer
Your projects and everything Hextion builds in them, Home > Today (tasks, focus timer, activity), screenshots you scan for tasks (read by your computer's own text recognition), your settings, favourites and media folders. The icon library download and ElevenLabs transcription are your own computer talking to those services; I don't receive that data.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (__cf_bm or cf_clearance) only if a security challenge is switched on. If you choose Light or Dark in the theme switch, that choice is stored in your own browser.
No selling, no advertising
No advertising, no tracking pixels, no selling or sharing of personal data, no newsletter. There is nothing to switch off for Do Not Track, because nothing tracks you across sites.
International transfers
Cloudflare, Dodo Payments, Google (Gmail) and ElevenLabs work in the US and around the world, so your data may be processed outside your country, under their own safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, or object to its use, by writing to support@gethextion.com. Under GDPR and UK GDPR I answer within one month. Under India's rules, complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours. California: I don't sell or share personal information.
Security and breaches
Data is kept with the providers above, behind their security. If a breach affects you, I will tell you and the authorities where the law requires.
Children
Hextion is not meant for children, and I don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes are posted here with a new date.
